IDEAS ARE CHEAP Once the idea of the Threshold Pack became physical, it was clear this bag was going to be a tricky one to get right. And by right I mean hold all the features I had planned for it while maintaining a clean and timeless composure. If top-loader bags are traditionally for hiking, how do we take the benefits of the hiker archetype while removing the aspects that don't serve the serious traveller? This was more or less the brief. I mean, the brief was to make a sick bag that worked forever. And this was the result. -Henry. Founder/Designer |

Kept trying to force the Panda Pack side pockets on this as you see from the paper mock up. Also the bottom was too slanted to ever have a chance of standing up on its own. |
|
The back panel is like the spine of the bag and dictates its overall shape. It evolved to be tapered and egg shape in the end and therefore more stable and refined. |
