A travel diary from our Creative Director and founder Mansur Gavriel Our co-founder and creative director Rachel Mansur visited Amsterdam as part of our ongoing MG Photo Series, capturing the art, architecture, color, and energy of summer in a city with a rich creative history. From the work of Van Gogh and Rembrandt to canal houses, boats along the waterways, bright shutters, leafy parks, and children playing, art and everyday life feel closely intertwined. The city is rich with art and architecture, alongside a diverse food culture shaped by its international character. Rachel photographed the details that caught her eye along the way—color combinations, textures, shapes, and scenes from daily life. Together, the images offer a personal view of Amsterdam and a source of inspiration for the brand’s approach to color, material, and form.
