WHERE ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS?
I've been going crazy, to be honest. Tripping around Europe and America looking for spots and adventures. Found them, not gonna lie.
It started in Sicily – one of my favourite places on Earth. Then Rome, Warsaw, Gdańsk, and the etnies trip to Lisbon. Heaven on earth. Great times, great people. I'm glad I met Telmo and Pedro. Telmo's knowledge, honesty and the way he sees things makes you believe everything he says. I miss you guys. Portugal and Italy have a special place in my heart.
Then I came back to Poland straight to my friend's funeral. R.I.P. Timmy Austin. My heart was broken. In April I went to Marseille with friends, filmed a lot, had so much fun. First days of May, Berlin with my crew Zip.300 – sixteen skaters in the Airbnb, a plastic trash can to jump over (rip), and best trick until the cops show up. They didn't.
Right after Berlin I went to Warsaw, won the Warsaw Skate Express event, flew to Chicago for the last filming trip of the etnies promo, then California for some additional tricks, and surfed in San Diego for the first time. Back in Europe for TownTour with the best skaters from Poland, a week in Hel (the city), skating and chilling. Then Back In The Streets for Go Skateboarding Day with Halfpipe Records in Paris, a week in Rome, and Helsinki for the etnies promo premiere.
I keep thinking about going home for a second to breathe – but I don't really know where home is. Still figuring that out. Lol. Moving to the north of Poland near the Baltic Sea though, so we'll see.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE ETNIES SHOE TO SKATE AND CHILL IN SINCE YOU GOT ON THE TEAM?
I’ve been skating etnies for 5 years now. For the last few months I've been skating the Locut Vulc and I like them a lot. Easy to wear, really good grip and board feel. Besides that, the etnies x Sour Solution Screw Vulc – very classy, kinda slim and form fitting, looks great and kicks the board well. Barney likes them too. And the etnies Kayson x Nick Garcia with the cockroach on the insole – comfortable, light, with gum on the side. I like green. Those were my top two.

HOW DID YOU HEAR THAT WE WOULD GIVE YOU A COLORWAY?
The birds were tweeting, that's how. I got the info about 1.5 years ago. At first I thought it was a pro shoe and I said to myself: it's too early, I've gotta refuse, who am I to have this? But then I realized it's just a colorway, which is very popular these days, so I got excited.

HOW WAS THE DESIGN PROCESS?
We've been working on them since last Copenhagen Open, haha. I was tripping and trying to design a shoe at the same time… Pretty hard to focus, but we made it. Thanks to Rick, Juss, and everyone involved. I made the letters, and my best friend and crewmate Thayfun – shoutout – he's a graffiti writer and his signature train he paints is on the insole.

YOU RECENTLY CHANGED BOARD SPONSORS. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, AND WHO ARE YOUR CURRENT SPONSORS?
Yeah, I was skating for Santa Cruz, that's all. When I was in California, me and Kyle Seidler had a really good conversation and we both realized we had to make some changes. We pulled up to the Sci-Fi crew and skated together. I met Jerry for the first time and the rest of the crew. We skated and had fun, that's all I want from skateboarding. Other than that I'm on etnies, Monster, Spitfire, Thunder, Agrest Pants, and the Minicamp Skate Shop in Poland.

WHAT'S NEXT?
For the next few months I'll be on trips with the etnies team for Subwoofer, our next video project. Otherwise I have a couple of projects in the works, but the next step is unpredictable – I can't really tell. I have many, many ideas and plans that are my main life goals. Filming, skating, and painting fuel me with motivation to wake up and do something.
